Solaris Hurricane Policy - 2024

At Solaris Resorts, we offer unbelievable vacation experiences at a surprisingly great value. Don’t stress planning a vacation during hurricane season (June -November). Everyone knows fall is the best time to travel to Mexico, vacation prices are low.

Our hurricane policy makes it easy to decide that Solaris Resorts are the right choice for allyour vacation needs. In the event that a hurricane directly hits any Solaris resort in Cancun or Los Cabos while on vacation, we will gladly offer a certificate for a return stay to the original resort for the number of original nights unused. Vacation interruption is defined when the hotel interrupts full operations for at least 24 hours (not including the day of departure). Certificate will be issued only if vacation is interrupted while in resort. It is no transferable and not redeemable for cash. Certificate can be redeemed for travel prior to December 20th, 2024 or between September 01,2025 and December 20th, 2025 (subject to availability and previous request) It does not include airfare and transfers.

Cancellations: There would be no penalties for cancellations made after the National hurricane center (NOAA) emit the alert of a hurricane striking the area. Guests must contact their travel agency directly to cancel.

No Show: No show penalties will also be waived up to 5 days after the original traveling datesif a hurricane hits Cancún or Los Cabos.

Relocations: If guests choose to transfer their reservation to an alternate destination offered by Solaris Resorts, we will offer rooms at the same rate based on availability.

Rescheduling: If guests wish to postpone their vacation and travel at a later date, we will protect original rate until Dec 17th, 2024. Bookings must be rescheduled within 30 days after a hurricane strikes. Based on availability and blackout periods apply. Rate protection will only apply to the number of original nights and number of guests booked. (Additional nights or guests will be booked at current rate). No name changes allowed.

Airline ticket holders are subject to airlines’ policies and guidelines, and is not included or considered in this policy.

  3. Once we receive your e-mail with the 110% Best Price Guarantee request. We will verify that the rate match our comparison rates with the large OTA . If we approve the match you will receive an extra 10% discount or a credit to use during your vacation. *Restrictions apply

How it works

  1. Go to the large OTA where you found the lower price for the same arrival date, number of nights and room accommodations.
  2. Make sure you have the final price with all taxes and surcharges properly displayed.
  3. Take a screen shot of the rate found and Send an e-mail to [email protected]
  4. We will verify that the rate is an official rate from a large OTA.

The 110% Best Price Guarantee do not apply for rates shown at costco, destinia, agoda, hurb, travelUp, other unofficial travel agencies, metasearch websites or group bookings. We will contact you to confirm if we can match the rate and offer the 10% extra discount.

Reschedule Flexibility

How to change your arrival date by phone:

  1. Call to our contact center (998) 800-1353 with your confirmation number at hand.
  2. Ask for your agent to reschedule your new arrival date.
  3. Your agent will confirm your new arrival date, done!

How to change your arrival date by mail:

  1. Send an Email to: [email protected] in which you will include:
    Confirmation number
    Name in the reservation
    New arrival date.
  2. Within 24 hours you will receive the confirmation of your new arrival date, done!

Note: Be aware the room availability is constantly changing, so the confirmation of your rescheduling is based solely on availability.

You can get your room confirmation paying only 199 USD, no matter the total amount of your reservation, and pay the balance at your check-in, just select the option at the moment of your checkout during your online reservation or let know to your agent during your call.
