At Club Solaris Hotels in Mexico, we offer an incredible vacation experience with amazing value. Don’t stress about planning a vacation during hurricane season (June–November). Everyone knows fall is the best time to travel to Cancun — vacation prices are lower. Our Hurricane Policy makes it easy to see why Club Solaris Mexico is the right choice for all your vacation needs.
In the event that a hurricane directly impacts any Club Solaris Hotel in Cancun or Los Cabos during your vacation, we will gladly offer a certificate for a return stay during the same season and original month, for the number of unused nights. A vacation interruption is defined as the hotel suspending full operations for at least 24 hours (excluding your check-out day). This certificate will only be issued if your vacation is interrupted while you are at the resort. It is non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and must be used before December 17, or between September 1 and December 17 (subject to availability and prior request). The certificate does not include airfare, ground transportation, car rental, prepaid tours, or any other activity prepaid directly by you that is not operated by or related to our properties.
Cancellations: No penalties or fees will apply to cancellations made up to 72 hours before the hurricane’s arrival. Guests must contact their travel agency directly to cancel and obtain written confirmation of the cancellation. No-Shows: There will be no penalty for no-shows if the guest contacts the hotel up to 5 days after the original travel date, in the event of a direct hurricane impact in Cancun.
Relocation: If guests choose to transfer their reservation to an alternate destination offered by Club Solaris, rooms will be provided at the same rate and occupancy, subject to availability. Rescheduling: If guests wish to postpone their vacation and travel at a later date, we will honor the original rate until December 17.
Reservations must be rescheduled within 30 days after a hurricane, based on availability and standard blackout periods. The rate protection will only apply to the original number of nights and number of guests booked. (Additional nights or guests will be charged at the current rate.) Name changes will not be allowed under any circumstance. This policy applies to individual travel only. Airline ticket holders are subject to airline policies and guidelines, which are not included or covered under this policy. This policy is subject to change or suspension without prior notice.
